Mission Statement

The American public has too often been tricked into mistaking down-home, straight-talking friendliness with downright condescending, 'gotcha, bitches' smugness.

For 8 years a smug has hung over Washington, as a raving idiot gloated (and lied) in our faces, swimming into office on a wave of shared beer, and protected from our angry fists by a sturdy television screen. Now we MUST stand up together to prevent another reign of smug. We say, let the smuggery stop HERE.

This blog will attempt to teach smugness recognition, so that we may arm ourselves with the ability to recognize when we are being talked down to, not palled around with. Faces, statements, gestures - smugness lurks everywhere, and it's our job to call it OUT.
